We started off our day by finished our Christmas presents and cards for our mom and dad. Then after a few more activities, and some singing, we started our party. We played SANTA Bingo, and then made our own gingerbread houses. The kids had so much fun, and did a great job. The especially loved getting to lick their popsicle stick after they had finshed putting the frosting on their house.

Thanksgiving Feast
Our annual Thanksgiving Feast was a lot of fun. We started off by coloring and making turkeys out of pine cones. The kids practiced their parts all month, and were so excited to do their skits for their parents. We loved getting ready for the feast this month by singing Thanksgiving songs, and making all kinds of Thanksgiving items. Thanks to everyone for coming and supporting the kids.

Our Country
Last week since it was time for everyone to vote, we spent the week learning about our country, and why it is important to vote. We practiced The Pledge of Allegiance, and listened to the Star Spangled Banner. We finished off our week of activities by making American Flags. The kids did a great job, and I enjoyed seeing their finished work.

Halloween Fun
We had a lot of fun at our Halloween party this year. We played fun games, had a candy walk, and of course decorated cookies. Everyone came dressed up in their costumes and it was so fun to see what everyone was going to be on Halloween. Thanks to everyone who came and helped, or sent something for our party. It was a huge success!!

Show and Tell
The kids love to have Show and Tell and can hardly wait to share what they brought. Today our theme was "Halloween," and we had some great things brought in. I love to hear them talk about what they brought, and they are getting great at telling the class, instead of me, about their item. I look forward to seeing what they bring in each week.
VIP
Throughout the school year, each child gets a turn to be the "Very Important Person" for a week. During this week we learn things about each child, and they get to bring in a poster they made with things they like. This is a picture of Alex in front of his poster. I'm sorry that I didn't get a picture of Bryson or Celeste, but it has been fun learning about each child, and they enjoying sharing with everyone in the class.

Gummy Bear Graphing
Today we did our first official graphing project with gummy bears. The kids did a great job, and were so good not to eat their gummy bears until the end. They loved seeing how many bears they had, and which color won. In case your wondering there are almost twice as many red gummy bears as there were any other color.
